Technology has sure come a long way. Most of these shots were hand held. Some at ridiculously high ISOs. I remember when 1600 was a big deal for B&W film, and it was still grainy. Now you can shot at over 6000 without thinking twice. On the flip side, some of these shots were taken with the Sigma Merrill DP camera, which uses a Foveon sensor. That sensor makes art happen. It is gorgeous, and the colors that come out of it are stunning. On the hand, you can't really shoot ISOs above 400 with it. The first 4 shots below were taken with it (Merrill DP2). No big deal at all if you grew up with Tri-X film.
